Keiron PRO Keiron PRO is the most versatile, productive firearm training system available in the world.
In use by law enforcement, professional firearm trainers, private armed security organisations, competition shooters and ordinary citizens, the system allows for the most realistic, immersive, shooting on the move, training to take place. A set of interlinked products allow for almost any kind of simulated shooting scenario to be easily and quickly created, and then trained. All Keiron PRO elements are linked wirelessly using dedicated, certified, licence free radios. Multiple training systems may exist under one roof with easy pairing and separation of systems. The core of the system is made up of 2 key elements, namely the PRO Timer and Target PRO. The PRO Timer is not only the shot timer for the system, but also the system controller. A range of additional accessories go hand in hand and may be used to enhance training objectives. These include a Swinger Target PRO (moving target), Motion Detector, Motion Actuator, LED flasher, a LAMP, Sound Effects etc. Keiron PRO targets are compatible* with red, green and infrared (IR) laser equipped training pistols and rifles (AR Bolt and STIC) from SIRT, and red and infrared (IR) lasers from CoolFire. They are also compatible with most red and infrared (IR) laser cartridges. However, they also designed to MOT react to certain lasers. More below. * NB. The Keiron PRO targets are designed to respond to certain laser wavelengths (colours) BUT to filter out others, allowing weapon mounted sighting lasers to be used and not trigger the targets accidentally. Therefore, order your Keiron PRO targets to respond to the laser system that you plan to use, or speak with support to ascertain which model best fits your requirement. Keiron Target PROThe Target PRO is the backbone of the Keiron PRO training system. It reacts to every shot placed on the large strike zone and sends it's data wirelessly to the PRO Timer.
The Target PRO is light, very energy efficient and may be rapidly deployed to create new training scenarios. Depending on the training scenario, one may choose to have the target respond to a shot visually, audibly , both or not at all. Whichever option is chosen, the PRO Timer will always record the shot information. As with the standard Keiron targets, one may easily insert a target overlay to change the shape and size of the strike zone, emulating different targets and distances. Available with a white strike zone, the Target PRO may be ordered responding to red lasers but not green, or responding to green lasers. A special NVG edition version responds to green laser equipped SIRTS but filters out infrared (IR) allowing low light (or zero light) training to be conducted using the Keiron PRO system. Any Target PRO may be designated as a shoot or no-shoot target. |
Keiron Timer PROThe Timer PRO is the heart of a Keiron PRO training system. When activated, it listens and records every shot detected on any connected Target PRO, (or swinger target). Every shot is displayed (Target ID, shot time and split time), and also saved for subsequent viewing.
Each Target PRO (and indeed every Keiron PRO device) has a unique serial number, allowing the shooter or instructor to debrief a session, to recall split times and transition times, and also to see any no-shoots that may have been shot. The Timer PRO is also used to configure targets and other Keiron PRO accessories. Various training modes may be chosen, including a standard shot timer mode, but also more advanced modes where all shoot and no-shoot targets are known. In this mode, any targets not shot as well as no-shoots that were shot will negatively score. There is also a mode that allow the draw to be practiced, and some competition style modes. |
