Keiron PRO Accessories

Keiron PRO Swinger Target
The Keiron PRO Swinger Target behaves in a very similar manner to a swinger target as used in competition shooting.  A weight is used to provide a swinging, pendulum type motion once released.  However, instead of a rope attached to a gong being used to release the target, the Keiron PRO Swinger target is activated and released by the Keiron PRO network.  This could be by shooting a Keiron PRO Target,  or activating a Keiron PRO Motion Detector, or manually by using the Keiron PRO Remote control.

The target is easy to reset, and also easy to setup to provide a full or limited range of motion.
Keiron PRO Motion Detector
The Keiron PRO motion detector uses a passive Infrared detector to detect motion within 160 degrees and up to 9 metres.  The motion detector may be used to trigger:
1.A sound effect using a Keiron PRO EFFECTS Audiobox
2.Some actual physical movement using the Keiron PRO Motion Actuator
3.A Keiron PRO Swinging Target
4.Flashing or steady lights
Keiron PRO Motion Actuator
The Keiron PRO Motion Actuator may be triggered by a target or a Keiron PRO motion detector.  Once triggered, a linear movement is created.  The standard “desktop” model is battery powered and uses a 2mm steel rod that protrudes the side.  One can choose to have the rod push or pull an item.  It may be placed anywhere, to (for example) knock over an object, creating a noise and distraction and revealing a target, or to release an object.  One could use it to pull the trigger of a paintball marker.  As a highly portable battery powered device, range of motion is limited to +- 40mm and torque is limited, but custom actuators may be ordered.  For example, Jacstech can provide an actuator with a range of motion of 12 inches and 100lbs force.
Keiron PRO Illuminator
The Keiron PRO Illuminator contains a bright LED light which is wirelessly activated by another, paired Keiron PRO device.  It is intended to be used to either alert or distract a shooter, or for low light training to simulate a situation where the shooter is suddenly faced with an unexpected bright light.  (For example, simulating a situation where a building is being cleared at night and a suspect turns on the lights).
Keiron PRO Remote Control
The Keiron PRO Remote Control is a handheld remote that offers some manual control over the Keiron PRO system.  Generally all accessory products such as the swinger target, light effects and sound effects are automatic but sometimes it is useful to be able to trigger lights, sound effects and so on manually.

General Notes and Highlights
A basic concept behind all the Keiron PRO accessories is to create semi or fully automated training environments.
